dear friend you have given a example according to Factories act, i would like to know is there any specific or fixed rule applicable for costruction companies to allot PL ??

Dear
This is to inform you that none of the labour relating to grant of E L or P L is applicable to construction sites. In my opinion there two laws which are relating to grant of El i.e. Factories Act, 1948 & State Shops Act but in your case both the Acts are not applicable. Offices of construction site may be found covered under Shops Act of the respective State if that area where the office is situated is covered for applicability of Shops Act.

can any one give me valuable information regarding Leave Rules & its calculation.
no. of EL, CL, HPL & SL and maximum limit of EL & HPL that an employee can avail leaves during the whole service period. what is the difference between EL & HPL and is more beneficial for employees.

I heard that there is practice of EL/AL to be given in karnataka per year 18 i.,e 1.5 per month. can any give me the clarity on this.
