Employer deliberately kept plotting my leaves, so that my background verification fails with a new employer

That depends on the attitude and the policy of the employer. As already pointed out whatever silly negative points may become serious when you are not good for the employer but on the otherside, even major incidents will become silly if you are required by the employer.
