I agree with what the prevoius guys contributed. In short you have to formulate organisational polices, such as:-
1. General conditions of service- this policy governs day to day runnings of the business that is working hrs, remmunaration, overtime, allowances, leave,promotions, transfers etc- actually all staff welfare and should be in line with labour regulations and ILO standards.
2. Set up workers commitees so that you will be able to formulate your company code of conduct. This code is only functional after it has been registered with the relavant body and signed off by both parties (workers & management).This will help you deal with your grievances and discplinary cases quite easly.
3. Set up a SHE policy in line with occupational safety standards recognised in your country.
