Hi
Some of us in Mumbai actually met up last year in October 08, I think. Sanjana, Karuna, Prasanna Hegde, Meenakshi Kemble, Kenneth(3G), anyone else who attended - correct me if I am wrong please.
We met at Dadar, Gelato's - to avoid the mob at CCD. All thanks to Karuuna Nayak for coordinating this meet and ensuring that we all made time to attend the meeting. This meeting was a "get to know in person" thing - we introduced ourselves with some background on how we got into HR and where we want to go. The overall meeting took about an hour or so... actually longer since not everyone (including me) reached on time.
As far as the agenda given by Ravinder goes, would request you to kindly freeze on the duration of the meeting. I honestly dont think we can cover all the topics you mentioned in 2 or 3 hours.
So - let me know on about details of this meeting. I am in - to attend and help!
Regards
Ryan

Hello All
I am a senior consultant at the niche innovation consulting firm, Erehwon ( EREHWON INNOVATION CONSULTING ).
This proposal has been pending for some time now. Must do something about it.
I am prepared to coordinate a meet in end May, preferably on 30 May. Please comment on following -
  • A short 2 hour meet ( 5 pm to 7 pm) , mainly to meet each other. No central speakers.
  • Simple tea and snacks.
  • At some location around Andheri Kurla road. I will organise.
  • We share the expenses.
Best

Hi all.

Before i started this thread I spoken to few menbers in pune, Chenni and hydrabad.. about this HR meet how do they conduct and what kind of session that they do how often they conduct the meetings and few more things...

The feedbak thatwas most common was .."they said that when we post such tags for meeting the response that come is really good but on the day when the meet is supose to happen then very few people turn up....my only point to convey this to all of you is that lets not be like them,,,,if any of us is not intrest to attend the meeting ...then lets not build fake hopes....we want more and more people to attend the meeting..and the top priority will be this only that there should be good no of people attendin the meet ..and i think then only the sole moto of meting which is "KNOWLADGE SHAEARING "will be achieved...please correct me if i am wrong..

I have one suggession : when HR meet will happen we will post the summery of what exactly happen in the meeting and what was the agenda all about.. i will take the resposibility of that... this will help people to know from outside the group also that we do meetings not just to do a get-together but or sole moto is to share knowladge and let Hr community grow stronge in their respective field...

Thanks & Regards...

Hi All
Meenakshi seems ideally placed to coordinate the first Mumbai meet. So, Meenakshi, go ahead and start it. I will surely attend.
My suggestion is - instead of wiating for too long, let us have the first meeting pronto. Purpose. form etc will automatically follow thereafter. Too much deliberation at the begining may cause interest to flag off.
Best
