Dear All,
Good Morning,
Many corporate MNC's having hierarchy level for all designations and isolate their jobs. My query is about, what are the roles and responsibilities for HR-Executive, Sr.HR Executive, HR-Manager, Sr.HR-Manager, VP-HR, etc…
Please could you differentiate their profiles and how they split the day-day assignments?
I'll expect all members on citehr forum should give an appropriate feedback.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Sarvanan,
Each organization has different roles allotted. Naturally, the responsibilities given should be as per a priority basis.
Executives have little to no experience, so major work is not usually allocated to them.
Senior Executives have gained good experience, so major responsibilities like ESIC, PF, Gratuity, etc., can be assigned to them.
Managers definitely have significant experience, so they will oversee all recruitment processes, issue offer letters, appointment letters, manage Management Information Systems (MIS), handle attrition, etc.
Heads / VPs have much more experience. They will formulate policies, oversee operations, make decisions, etc.
I hope these ideas are clear.

Dear Saravana,
Greetings.
You have asked a good question about the roles and responsibilities of HR personnel in a big company. We can talk at length about this subject, but in a nutshell, it will be determined based on the following characteristics:
01. VP / GM - HR: Exploring the possibility of introducing new concepts regarding recruitment, training, and the goals of the organization.
02. HR Manager and Dy. Manager: Day-to-day governance of HR functions concerning recruitment, training, welfare, payroll administration, and industrial relations.
03. Executive and Sr. Executive - HR: Execution of the HR work assigned to them regarding all functions of the HR department.
I hope I have explained to a certain extent about the responsibilities of the HR hierarchy.
Cheers,
