Hi all, I wanted to know what the minimum number of months of work required for the withdrawal of PF is. I have heard that if an employee has had their PF account open for less than 6 months in a company, then their account lapses at the time of resignation if they do not want it to be transferred.
Guidance on Pursuing LLB
Furthermore, can anybody provide me with guidance regarding LLB? I have completed an MBA in HR and am interested in further studies. How useful would an LLB be for me? Are there any authentic distance learning courses available? Kindly help.

Hey, you can withdraw your PF. Firstly, complete your formalities of documentation, meaning submit your withdrawal forms like Form 19, Form 10C, identity proof (e.g., PAN Card copy), and a Single Holder Bank Statement/Canceled Cheque. Submit the above documents to your employer. Your employer will sign/stamp and attach Form 5, Form 10, and Form 3A along with that and submit them to the respective PF Office to get acknowledgment. This is the process.
Now if your employer is not responding, you can directly submit it/register a complaint to the PF Office. The PF Office will send it back to your company as it has not been signed by the company's authorized person. Then, they have to take the necessary action and reply to the PF office.

Thank you, Vikram. The case is that one of my employees joined our organization in September 2010 and left in December 2010. Now, his PF has been deducted for only 4 months. The trivial PF that should have been added has been included in his account, and he even wants it to remain there without being transferred. So, will he receive that amount, or will it expire?
