To accommodate rotational shift duty between ABC guards, you have to consider their off days as well. In such a case, you will require an extra 0.5 manpower. Normally, a sound rotation occurs only when you have 6 guards and a reliever to cover the off days. Otherwise, it will follow a CBA and ABC pattern only.

How can only 3 guards manage all 3 shifts (ABC) at 8 hours each, 24x7x365, while providing them with a weekly off-duty on a rotating basis throughout the year? You need one more guard, don't you? Can someone explain this roster, please?
