Dear All,
Greetings! I have a query about my work experience. From 2011 to 2013, I worked for an organization that did not issue a relieving letter, and we submitted a resignation email. I have all the documents, such as the offer letter, appointment letter, and salary slips, except for the final relieving letter.
Kindly suggest.

Hi, In the absence of a proper resignation letter from your end, how can you expect the employer to issue a relieving/experience certificate? Have you served the proper notice period? If so, you can request an experience certificate now.
In the absence of an experience/relieving letter, you can present a payslip, bank statement, Form 16, offer letter, or salary hike letter as proof of employment. However, a proper relieving cum experience certificate will be more valid.

Hi, A relieving letter and service certificate are a must for taking up another job; otherwise, even a new company will doubt your sincerity. It's better if you approach the company's HR head where you have worked, satisfy their relieving formalities, and collect your relieving letter and service certificate accordingly. There is a possibility of an employee verification process, during which you may face numerous challenges.

Hi all, I have spoken to the CEO of the company, and he is asking me to share the appointment letter and promotion letter they gave me. After submission, he will decide whether the relieving letter will be issued or not since it is an old record. Please suggest if I should share the same or not. I left the company in 2013.

Hi all, I just spoke to my seniors who left the organization after I did. They also did not receive the relieving letter and have asked me to share their contact details for any background verification related to work.
