Company tells any employee to resign for any reason, can the company make it compulsory for that employee to come to the office?

Hi, If company told any employee for resign for any other reason, is the company can reinforced to that employee to come to the office compulsory?

Even if the company has asked the employee to resign, it can still insist that the employee serve the notice period. Otherwise, the company will deduct the salary for the notice period from the full and final settlement.
