Ex-HR of my company made wrong offer letters and salary breakup of employees and so many employees of our company has been registered with pf with the basic pay 15000 for pf contribution even if they are earning 20000 rs. CTC per month but now after revising their salary this month, I have reduced their basic pay as 40%of their CTc so, will it create any problem if I will start filing of with the lesser amount?

If the revised PF qualifying salary is less than the previous amount or Rs 15000, then it will become an issue. At the same time, if you were contributing to PF on salary above Rs 15000 and now the HR has brought it down to Rs 15000, then there will not be any issue.
