Hello, as per the Maternity Benefit Act of 1961, a woman should have worked with her employer for at least 80 days in the 12 months preceding the date of her expected delivery to be eligible for maternity benefits. At the time of delivery, both pre and post, you will be eligible to receive maternity benefits. If you are covered under ESIC, then you can avail yourself of benefits from ESIC.
