What kind of letter should be given to an employee if his designation/job role is changed from sales manager to sales agent?

Demotion Letter Guidance

Sounds like a demotion. A letter addressed to the affected employee from the HR Head or Manager should work. Mention the change of role responsibilities (of the new role) and expectations in the new role. Also, specify if there is any change in their designation, employee grade or band, remuneration, etc. A couple of motivating lines are suggested.

CC to their Department Head, their other peers (old and new department), and functional heads.
