Hi all,
An offer from a new company gave me joining after 3 months which was fine with me. But in my present company after putting down my resignation, my manager n BU HR confirmed by mail that I would be getting an early release in about 15-16 days, but in the company's online system it was not updated yet. Considering the mail only, I informed the HR of the next company that I can join early in 1 month time.

However, couple of days after this, the HR of my old company again told me that there has been some confusion/miscommunicationand nothing is finalised and we may not be able to release you early. This really put me in a spot as I had already mailed the HR of the new company about early joining. Hence to avoid further damage in case the new HR starts the early joining process, I re-mailed her not to process my early joining n apologized for this situation.

I was finally relieved from my present organization after 1 month. Now I have 2 more months to go to join the new org. I m planning to do some courses meanwhile in case the new company asks me during joining what I did all this while. Also should I again inform the HR of the new org that I finally got released or would it sound really unprofessional ?
Yes, I know my mistake of mailing without having proper confirmation from the system.
So just wanted to ask, should I mail again or wait it out and do some courses in meanwhile?
