I don't have much information about Pivot Tables, but VLOOKUP is really a great tool. It is used to retrieve accurate data from a large dataset that shares at least one common field, such as an employee code. VLOOKUP is particularly useful when dealing with a large number of people, like data for over 100 employees where some may have left the organization in a specific month while others have joined. In such cases, manually copying and pasting data becomes challenging as it requires cross-checking and consumes a lot of time.
On the other hand, using VLOOKUP allows us to retrieve all the necessary data with just a single formula.
