Hi All,
My last to last firm did not deduct any pf or TDS from salary and the complete amount was transferred to the account. I wasn't in the tax slab either. So they did not provide any form 16. Now background verification team from Accenture is asking for form 16 of that firm. Is there a possibility of failure of background checks?
Also, I downloaded my form 26as and it had no entry for that 1 year I worked with that firm. I provided them the bank statement for the complete year. will that work or they can fail the verification check?
Thanks in advance.

If there is no tax deduction, then there is no relevance in Form 16 from the perspective of BGV. The same would apply to Form 26AS. However payslips, full and final settlement, bank statement etc. helps I guess. Better talk to the HR and convey all these, upfront.
