Hi all,

I need your help with the error below in the EPFO portal under the One Member One Transfer feature.

"Online claim request cannot be processed as the present employer has not made payment in your PF account."

I have not joined the company, let's call it Y (Initially, I considered joining them but due to personal reasons, I couldn't proceed. Therefore, they raised a transfer request from my previous employer, X). However, under the current employer, I encountered the aforementioned error message. Additionally, there will be no PF amount credited from employer Y in the future. Could this potentially cause issues down the line?

It appears that the previous employer created your PF account and marked you as joined but did not change it to having left the organization. The new changes in the portal allow you to log in and put your exit date on your own. Do that, and then your PF contribution in the new company can be processed easily.
