Please help to clarify after submitting mother's deceased account with all formalities and getting closure of the deceased bank account and the balance transferred to the father's bank account, still, the pension amount is not credited to my father's account as he was the lawful nominee.

@surojit pension from where? source of pension is not mentioned in the post. and bank does not offer any pension for maintaining accounts with them

The two things are different. Transfer of Bank Account doesn't automatically lead to transfer of pension to the father's account. First of all you have to inform the pension disbursing authority about the death of mother and to grant family pension in favour of father. Then only it will get credited in the father's account. In government organisations spouse gets only 50% of the pension amount of the employee and there has to be an order sanctioning it.
