I am working in the HR department, and this is my first job. I have to email the salary slips to the employees in their personal mail. What should be the email format for issuing the salary slip?

Salary slips are generated in a document file, saved as a PDF, and are supposed to be sent as attachments in emails. If we prepare separate emails for each employee, it would be a stack pile of tasks, more burdensome than calculating the salary sheet as each line will differ for every employee.

For SMEs, they use HR solutions like GrayHR or WebHR to upload their data there. Employees can then download and print their own records.

Let me understand how many employees work with you now. If the number is not significant, you can do the mail merge and generate individual payslips to share the respective sheet with each employee. As mentioned earlier, if the number of employees is higher, it would be better if you can afford the cost of hiring an HRMS.

The content of the mail can be as simple as "Please find attached your Payslip for the month of October 2024."
