Changes in HR Department Due to Company Name and Domain Change

We are changing our company's name and domain. Can anyone suggest what changes should be made in the HR Department accordingly? Also, do we need to change the employee agreement as well?

Formal Order for Company Rechristening

There has to be a formal order issued stating that the company has been rechristened, and all the assets and liabilities are taken over by the new company. Refer to the order of the Registrar of the Companies as the authority for it.

Informing Statutory Authorities

All statutory authorities like PF, ESI, Labour Welfare Fund, and as per ID Act, CLRA Act, Factories Act/Shop & Establishment Act, etc., have to be informed.

Employee Transition

You will also have to specify that the employees of the earlier company would now become employees of the new company, protecting their seniority, pay, service growth, etc. In view of the general order, individual agreements may not be necessary.
