Completed a 1 year probation period and not assigned to any project - should I ask HR about the confirmation letter or wait for some time

Hello sir/madam, I had completed a 1 year probation period in the company on 30 September 2020. but in this period I was not assigned to any project and I am learning courses that are useful for the upcoming project. So should I ask HR about the confirmation letter or wait for some time.

Have you received your Appointment letter? IN that letter there shall be a clause on
probation & confirmation. What does it state? Unless you give some information about this
to us, it will be difficult for us to give a concrete suggestion.
