The Government of Telangana vide notification no G.O.Rt.No.288, in order to enhance Ease of Doing Business in the State, has ordered that henceforth, the license granted/renewal under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 shall be in an automatic non-discretionary, deemed renewal manner through an online system. Without the requirement of filing an application for renewal, subject to payment of the fee prescribed by the Government from time to time, within the time prescribed.

I was trying to understand the notification. I failed to understand what does it mean implement Automatic non discretionary deemed renewal of license. Is it renewal without seeing any requirement?

Maharashtra there is a need of such change. But it's not possible. The Government itself with no direction.
In Maharashtra, the Labour Department is full with corruption. Even in Covid 19 pandemic they don't leave any contractor just like. Every licence applied online is rejected. Every one - the GLO, the ACL, the DCL telephones the contractor and asking him to meet out. It is really a very bad state of affair in Maharashtra Labour Department.

A prima facie reading of notification tells you that there is no need to submit a formal application in hard copies or soft copy-online,so the renewal will be automatic, deemed renewal but, however, subject to payment of appropriate fees in the manner prescribed and submitting copies thereof to the appropriate authorities, online should suffice.
But I have not come across such an action for Maharashtra.

We want to increase the number of workmen in the Labour License issued through the website: https://labour.telangana.gov.in/home.do.
We do not have any clarity on how this process works. There aren't many portal explaining how to amend the Labour License already issued. The website states that we can renew and amend the Labour License online, but the portal is calling for the Challan details before proceeding with the application. Please find attached the screenshot of my query and how can we enter the challan details? Where can we create the challan for the Labour License amendment, since this process can be done online.
