Hi Rajesh,
Your query is not clear. Is it that you follow a 5-day week with 2 days off weekly? And do you want to know if these 2 days off are paid holidays?
What type of establishment is yours? Is it a registered firm under the Shops & Commercial Estt. Act? Is it located in Mohali, Punjab? What is the strength of your manpower?

Rajesh,
Generally, a weekly off is given after working 5 or 6 days in a week. Even if you work for 4 days, how can you expect the weekly off to be paid? If you work 2 days, prefix and suffix to your Weekly Off, you will get.

Dear friend,
It gives the impression that you are employed in an office that now functions only two days a week due to certain reasons. Irrespective of the type of establishment, if such an arrangement is a result of the management's decision without a formal lay-off, either unilateral or bilateral subject to the provisions of the IDA, 1947, you are entitled to full wages for the period of no work as per the existing contract of employment. Therefore, the issue of wages for the weekly off pales into insignificance.
Please bear in mind that whenever you raise an unusual question like this, you should provide all the factual reasons to enable others to understand the question from its own perspective.

Dear Friends,
What I understood from the query raised is that during the Covid-19 Pandemic, the company is observing attendance by employees at 10% or so in rotation, whereby the employees are working only for 2 days in a week and paid for those 2 days only. Therefore, the query is whether the weekly off should be given paid or unpaid.
In such a case, I advise that all the employees collectively talk to the management and seek understanding. As per the Honorable Supreme Court directions, the company should settle the issues relating to wages during the lockdown amicably or through conciliation machinery and sign the Memorandum of Settlement (MOS).

This will depend on the prevailing Covid pandemic conditions of payment to employees in your organization and normally will be at the discretion of the management.
Are the remaining 4 days of the week being paid for? If so, and if the salary is monthly-based, then it should be paid.
