Hi All, Is there anyone who is facing payroll challenges? My current company manages the payroll and its related compliance function in-house. There are delays every month, errors in tax computations, payslips being done manually, and the PF compliances are areal pain.
Is there anyone also is facing the same challenges? Is payroll a matter of concern and what solutions have you implemented.

Are you a Developer cum service provider of Pay roll softwares for various clients or use a software for your payroll and facing challenges in running them in your estt.
Pay roll SW of course a complicated area but it is not going to be a nightmare nor an unsurmountable challenge. True here and there, now and then there going to be some small corrections, updation, additions, synchronizing etc of software implementation. But that doesn't mean unmanageable. 10o0s of SW either tailor made or exclusive SW developed in-house or sourced outside are running all over the world as you know. If and when your 'system study' is flawless which should have taken care every aspect either before or during the development stage everything could be taken care of.
Your experience of errors in tax computation, PF contribution etc are few such aspects which should have been taken care of during development, installation, trial run of SW which areas are apparently required to be updated/corrected as and when changes are effected including linking & providing gateway to portals for uploading/online various forms & periodical returns. Similarly in the course, corrections & updation of SW from time to time also an important factor. You should thoroughly check your SW to locate where you would have missed to comply with. May be like a system audit sort of things.
