Hi all, I am working for an MNC as C2H with a vendor payroll. As per my contract, I need to serve a notice period of 30 days and plan accordingly. I have sent a resignation email to all the vendors and managers. I had a one-on-one meeting with the manager, and they are saying they cannot relieve me due to their requirement. They are struggling to find a new candidate.

Salary Issues and Future Plans

I have already made plans for my future. I faced issues with my salary being delayed for two months. After multiple follow-ups, they eventually deposited it. However, this month, they have once again delayed the payment, leading me to borrow money to pay my EMI. Despite sending numerous reminders, they are not providing any Last Working Day (LWD). Is it fair for an employee to wait in such conditions, especially when they have a better offer or future plans in place? I would appreciate any suggestions on how to smoothly transition out of this situation.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, an employer can delay the relieving date or request additional days of support but cannot deny the relieving. Persuade them for a specific relieving date. It is essential to handle this situation diplomatically. If you strain the relationship with the employer, you might face hardship. Therefore, deal with it carefully.

Hi, As you mentioned that you are working under vendor payroll, you need to approach the vendor company for your relieving. If they are not assisting, please seek support from the labor office; they will help you.

I have reached out to the HR department and the vendor, but they still need a response from the client. It is getting delayed even after sending multiple reminders and connecting with them. I am not getting a proper response. Can someone help me get through this smoothly?
