Hello All,

I'm Mukund, Talent Ops Specialist. I'm processing LTA payments in this month's payroll for all eligible employees. My query is as follows:

1) How many consecutive days of leave need to be taken by an employee? Is it 5 days or 7 days?
2) If it is 7 days and an employee takes leave from Monday to Friday, can we combine their leaves and convert their weekend holidays into Paid Leave?

For availing LTA, you can make a rule that an employee must avail a minimum of 5 days at a stretch. If a person applies for leave from Monday to Friday, how can you convert his weekly holidays into leave? Only intervening weekly offs could be converted into PL. Any preceding/succeeding weekly offs shall be treated as a weekly off only and not as leave. Trust the above clarifies your query.
