nanu1953Coverage under PF & ESIC is not only depending on the no. of permanent employees but also with the count of contractual employees engaged in that organization. Hope there are some contractual employees (may be the contractor(s) are fulfilling the PF & ESI liability ) e.g. Security, Office Boy, Sweeper etc.
Condition of coverage will be from the inception of the organization ( First Trade licence, If factory- factory licence, S & E Registration etc.) and the no. of total employees 10 in case of ESI and 20 in case of PF as the case may be. It will also be required to check the salary level of permanent employees at the time of past coverage.
