There is a case where a employee is working for 15 yrs. in our company but in between of his service he was absent for one month so in gratuity calculation that month will be considered or deducted from his no. of service. Pls. suggest.
Hi Varsha,
As per section 2(A) of Gratuity Act he is eligible for the whole 15 years including that one month absence period.
