We are a small trading firm based in old delhi. We have a total of 7 employees.
We are paying all their salary by direct bank transfer monthly and transferring them full amount as agreed with them.
We are neither making any contribution to EPF/ESI etc nor paying them any TA/DA/HRA.
We, till now, did not have any concept of salary slips, offer letter or appointment letter.
Now, there has been a couple of visits of labour inspector in our market to check on employees & whether they are getting minimum wages, so all the staff of all offices & shops nearby are demanding salary slips / appointment letters from their employers.
To be honest, we are not complying currently to MW with 2 of these employees but are ready to do so going forward and are also willing to offer them salary slips / appointment letters which may help them seek better jobs.
Please help me in drafting the same & how should I divide the components (basic + DA + others) keeping in mind the best benefit to my employee & to us.
1. Receptionist - Graduate - Rs. 11,500/month (1 year old employee)
2. Office Boy - 5th Pass - Rs. 14,000/month (6 year old employee)
3. Service Engineer - 12th Pass - Rs. 27,000/month (10 year old employee)
4. Sales Engineer - Diploma ITI - Rs. 40,000/month (1 year old employee)
5. Sales Engineer - 5th Pass - Rs. 16,000/month (10 year old employee)
6. Sales Engineer - 5th Pass - Rs. 20,000/month (15 year old employee)
7. Driver - 5th Pass - Rs. 16,500/month (3 year old employee)
Thank you for reading.
P.S. I ve gone through Delhi minimum wages act as attached.
From India, Delhi
a) shops & Establishment act
b) Factories Act
and in both acts no such obligations are applied unless the manpower reach 10+
basic need is just to comply the attendance or muster roll, minimum wages, payment of wages act and weekly closure notice,
