As you are aware the structure and levels/scales, designations are not common and/or uniform across the IT/ITES business world over. Even in India numerous designations are being followed and therefore one cannot reasonably compare designations, levels/hierarchy and remunerations attached with each of them with one another. That too though many employers follow CTC pattern but it's still not common to all. Unlike govt./quasi govt. establishments where we can reasonably gauge the hierarchy, seniority, scale of pay band and remuneration attached to each of them are almost identical & compareable, in IT industry these are not possible. Even no one knows what are the scales of pay attached to a designation/post in IT industry. Similarly when comes to granting periodical increments and quantum, no one can take it for granted. Therefore I will leave it to your judgment what nomenclature/designation/hierarchy can be adopted in your co.
