In my company , eventhough I am the HR designated as Asst HR Manager, Ops manager who is working since 15 years, he does the signature on all relieving and offer doc ,and moroever, he claims himself as HR Manager unofficially. And our CEO and CTO sit in US Office, I have completed a year in this company.
Kindly advice me is that i have the right to do signature under authorised signatory on Relieving and Offer doc of employees.
Bcos that Ops Manager wanted to have control on everything on him , including HR. Kindly advice me on this.

Dear Vindhya,
Only the directors on board are authorized to sign employment related letters; unless they delegate these responsibilities to someone else via a board resolution or a circular. Hence unless the directors authorize you, you should not sign employment letters.
