I was working for the X company for 1 year. In the beginning, I received my salary in cash for the first 6 months during the probationary period. After that, they started transferring my salary to my bank account. I have a relieving letter, the last 3 months' payslips, and 6 months' worth of bank statements, as well as the offer letter. I left that job because the company closed down.

TCS is requesting 1 year of bank statements, but I only have 6 months' worth. Will TCS take my situation into consideration during the background verification process?

Did that company give you form 16? Does the cash component reflect in the form 16? If yes, then form 16 will work to prove your salary from your previous company. Regards Rahul
