Suppose the basic salary is rs.6000 and the employee was absent for 5 days. What is the provision regarding the Provident Fund deduction for that particular month? will the amount of basic salary be reduced due to absenteeism of 5 days or the PF deduction would be same that is (6000 * 12%=Rs.720) of employer and employee? Also please enlighten regarding the same situation on ESIC deduction.
