I have been asked to resign from my job as a Business Analyst. My full n final is pending with HR.
The company is asking for people resignation as it is running in loss and cant pay salary.
I have also not received salary for 3 months till date. But my problem is bigger.
My PF deduction for the first 6 months with the company was done at 12% of my basic with same amount of contribution by the company.
But for the last 6 months the PF contribution is only Rs 1800 both from my side and the company.
My appointment letter does not state anything about PF contribution.

My question is can the company change the PF contribution without informing the employee or PF authority?

PF contribution depends upon salary structure of the employee, subject to amendment of the EPF Law/ Rules from time to time. You have to check the relevant rules applicable as on the date from which the PF contribution has been reduced.
