Hi, I am a mechanical design engineer. I lost my original relieving letter in a xerox shop. I have a xerox copy and a scanned copy of the relieving letter, and I also have the original experience letter. Now, can you please guide me on how to obtain a duplicate relieving letter?

Original relieving letter can be obtained from old employer only. Write to them and ask for a fresh letter explaining that original is lost. If you had a good exit, the company will generally oblige.

Please approach your previous company, show them the xerox copy of the relieving letter and original experience letter, and request them to issue a duplicate relieving letter. As your clearance is done, HR should not have any problems issuing this duplicate letter.
