An employee wanted to withdraw his EPF money. For that, he has updated his bank details and asked his employer to approve KYC, and accordingly, they did that.

Now, how long does the employee have to wait to get approval from the EPF authority? Or is there no role of EPF for approval? Can that employee fill up Form No. 19 and 10C after approval from his past employer?

Updation should be immediate after employer's approval.

Let the employee initiate the UAN process. If they still face problems, they can contact the PF Office immediately or raise a grievance on the website epfigms.gov.in.

EPFO authorities or the office have no role to play in approving the KYC. The details will be automatically updated once the employer approves it.

He/she can opt for a claim directly once the KYC details are approved from the employer's side.
