I am facing one critical issue now, one of employees Pf amount,due to negligence of accounts officials , without informing his DOJ, they have paid of other employee for 7 months ,( new joinee's pf amount ) has gone to absconded employee account, but when new joinee when he checked the status of his pf amount, he released that from company they have started paying him PF only after 7 months of his joining, but in his pay slip from the day one of joining, pf amount is deducted , totally 12716, ( 116( first month) and 1800 rs for 7 months). now how much company has to pay him as this employee is going relieve.
kindly advice me on this issue please.

Hi Vidhya,
This happens rarely. Coz UAN provides all needed info. If wrongly paid... Have to approach the PF commissioner and file a petition.
Delayed payment attracts interest. It is calculated on daily basis.
If you make the payment today thru the epf website, in 3 days time the website will display the interest on the amount and also the provision to pay it.
