I am resigning from my job as on 31. 01.2018. As my firm is closing down. I am currently pregnant and in my third month. Will I get ESI benefit for maternity?

Only two conditions are to be fulfilled for maternity benefit through ESIC.
1. You must have contribute to esic for at least 70 days in two consecutive contribution periods just prior to expected date of confinement.
2. You must have contributed something during respectitive contribution period of your benefit period in which your confinemet period falls, just to find out the rate of benefit.
3. if your expected date of confinement is before 30 June 2018, then login to ESIC IP portal and check your eligibility of maternity benefit. If the date is beyond 30/06, follow sl no 1 or check on 01/07 through Ip portal for your eligibility.
