Please let us know what the abstracts are to display on the Company Notice Board under the Shop & Establishment Act. Since our company is one year old, we have not taken care of these initially. Now we want to maintain and display the Abstract on our Notice Board. Can anyone help us with the list?

All applicable statutes that govern your type of business model must be displayed at a conspicuous place within your organization. Additionally, these abstracts should be in the regional language to enable employees to easily understand and become aware of the applicable statutes within your organization.
Thanks.

Dear colleague, depending on the strength of workmen/employees in your establishment, the following extracts of the Acts are required to be displayed on the notice board at a conspicuous place:
1. Maharashtra Shops and Establishment Act/Rules
2. Payment of Wages Act/Rules
3. Maternity Benefit Act/Rules
4. The Contract Labour R&A Act/Rules (if applicable)
5. Bombay Employment Standing Orders Act/Rules (if workman strength is more than 50)
Please refer to the Shops Act, which contains the above provisions. In fact, you should have done this homework before raising this query.

Dear with Ref, your email, and thanks for the suggestion. I don't have a soft copy of Kannada. All these abstracts we provide in a calendar format with imported lamination can be hung, which is maintenance-free, as you might have seen in many units in Karnataka.
I made labor law abstracts in both English and Kannada, covering 25 labor laws with compliance points in a book called "Labour Law Ready Reckoner - English and Kannada," for which the Labor Commissioner of Karnataka wrote the foreword. The cost of the book is Rs. 750 plus courier charges if you want it by this mode. The write-up of the book is attached.
For your information. Thanks and best wishes.
