Hi!
I would like to know how I can find out the total PF amount in my PF account and how to locate it. I have always filled out the PF transfer forms whenever I have changed my organization. Is there a PF statement that I can obtain from my organization?
Please reply soon. I am waiting for your quick response. Possibly, could you email me at devangdalal@gmail.com?

Hi,
Surely your employer is responsible for issuing the PF statement every year. You can request the same from them, as they obtain it from the PF department annually once they file the annual return.

Hi Devang,
I think the employer can only show you proof that the process has been initiated from their end. For example, if you transferred your PF amount from one account to another, your latest employer is supposed to take Form 13 from you and submit it to the PF department. However, to know if the amount has actually been transferred or not, you would have to personally visit the PF department. If the amount is maintained in a trust, it is easier to track.
Thanks,
Sudha S.
