Position Description:
We are a leader in the travel industry, providing private and commercial vehicle rental services across India. Our prestigious client, 4 Wheeler India, based in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, and Patna, is looking for a highly skilled Service Engineer to join their expanding department on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for the chosen candidate to work in a modern and luxurious environment. The successful Service Engineer will be working a 40-hour week with access to onsite facilities.
Key Responsibilities :
• Provide service support for our vehicles
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance support of 4 Wheeler India
• Address customer support issues promptly and professionally
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive attitude and actions to optimize system performance
• Proactive preventive maintenance and modifications, reactive repairs and basic calibration, and installations and de-installations, in a timely, productive, and cost-effective way
• Train drivers and customers in the appropriate maintenance of systems
• Maximize system performance and minimize downtime
• Interpret customers’ needs and take responsibility for problem resolution amongst other functions liaising with the customer on administrative and technical matters
• Manage all aspects of field support, which is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking
• Expectation to work out of hours within reason
• Provides technical direction and support to customers on instrument operation, assay development, and maintenance of company products
• Install instrumentation, train customers and ensure a smooth and rapid start-up for new customers
• Demonstration of company’s instruments, software and reagents to customers
• Verify the vehicle related to mileage, and engine efficiency
• Work closely with tech support and tech service teams
Secondary activities:
• Support the sales team with pre- and post-sale technical activities
• Work with sales on account strategies to drive business growth and retention
• Support seminars and presentations at customer sites, trade shows, and workshops
• Support engine mount development
• Correlation of reference models
• Documentation, communication, and presentation to affected areas; meeting facilitation
Skills Required:
• Good communication and project management skills
• Strong ability and desire to work in a global environment
• Excellent English language skills
Skills Preferred:
• Automobile Engineering
Experience Required: Open to both freshers and experienced candidates
Education Required: Certificate/ ITI/ Diploma/ Graduate (B. Tech ) in Mechanical & Automobile fields
