Hello All, I need assistance regarding the PF withdrawal process. I have worked in 2 organizations for 6 months each. I had a word with my last employer regarding the PF account, and I found that my previous PF account has not been merged with the new one that was opened recently.

PF Account Transfer and Withdrawal

Is it possible to transfer the amount from one account to another on our own, or will it be done by the employer only? Is it beneficial to withdraw the PF amount if worked less than 6 months? What are the forms required in both cases?

Yes, the amount can be transferred. It will be done through the employer.

As you have contributed for 6 months, you will get the PF contribution. Hence, you are entitled to your amount.
