I would like to know if the Employer is issuing Notice for 2 months, and during Notice period if the employee takes leave for attending interview whether the salary will be deducted ?

Hi Jyothi, This is upon employers discretion, either they will increase your notice period by the number of days you were on leave during notice period or they may deduct your salary for the same.

Normally Leaves are not granted during Notice Period apart from exigency where leave is necessary, in such scenario as rightly mentioned by Asna Siddiqui it is at employer's discretion either to extend notice period for such leave or to deduct amount equivalent to such leave as mentioned in the Termination clause and releive the employee smoothly.
