I'm doing MBA and in next a couple of months, i'm gonna have to choose major and minor, perhaps, yet.. i'm seemed to b quite fuzzy bout it. don't know of 'em two, which one is good. highly demanding. & most salary oriented job. some says, selling (mba in marketing) is good & best & also, more demanding, but it's also more like traveling or door-to-door [selling] job. Well, quite honestly, i'm not much into it neither wish doing anything like that at all.

I simply long to do a job that provides me a proper satisfaction & , of course, high salary + life balance schedule. today, now-a-days, i'm seeing, there's so much rush. everyone's seemed to be not so happy with their jobs even.. my seniors r either switching jobs incessantly with time. urgh.. i really don't wan this happen to ... with me not at all. so just joined this forum to see... if someone resolves such hoola hoops of life & makes such things clear around.

hope to hear from you guys soon!

Dear Shivanshh,

It is very important that you decide your career path during school days as during that period you create the foundation of your career and accordingly you proceed.

Now coming to your queries..

Every career option is good in itself whether it is sales, marketing, HR or anything may be. While choosing right career you should focus on two things...1. your interests and 2. your strength. Based on the same you should decide your career goal. So to decide your specialization, you need to check, both your interests and strength for both the subjects. Don't go with what other people say or feel. And people around you are not successful in any particular job because they didn't choose right career as per their strength and interest. They only went with the same job because of many reasons may be ...like lucrative salary, friend's advise, nearby job location, parent's choice or many things.

Remember....if you make your career in the field you love most and is a strength for you, then definitely you will shine like anything in life and you will really enjoy your work. And once you start enjoying your work, then you don't need to switch job again and again. Don't focus on money, focus on what is right for you, money will automatically follow you.
