Cell Phone Policy for Telesales Team
I am looking for a cell phone policy for my organization.
Background
We have recently provided a handset (normal phone) with a SIM card to our Telesales team as they were using dual SIMs and were mostly online on WhatsApp or other social networking sites. To prevent such practices, we have implemented this change, and now we need to create a policy for the same.
What I Need
1. A strong policy stating the eligibility, usage, and salary deductions in case of damage or loss by the employee.
2. If anyone has worked or is currently working with call centers, please send suggestions and your cell phone policies.
3. You can email your details to [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons] / [Email Removed For Privacy Reasons].
I request all viewers to suggest or advise me regarding the above matter.
Thanks a ton!

Telesales Team Phone Usage and Policy Considerations
Does your telesales team visit the market frequently? If yes, then it's okay to provide the handset; otherwise, they can use the landline for telecalling. You need to plan with your management about how much limit is to be fixed by the company for payment of the bill. Beyond that amount, the employee is responsible for the payment. Does your telesales department consist of a senior manager? If it does, you can discuss with the management about paying the actual bill amount for those senior officials (which is completely up to the company to decide).
Have you provided your employees with a CUG SIM? I hope you have done so, as it will be easier for you to resolve any problems faced by your employees regarding call drops or other connection issues by contacting the concerned CUG provider.
Types of Calls and Telecom Operator Considerations
Which types of calls are made most frequently by your employees? Do they make local or STD calls frequently? Just share that information with the telecom operator and ask for a customized plan for it. Also, you need to do a thorough check regarding which operator has the best signal in your area and you should opt accordingly.
