Hi Buddy,
There is no provision telling single or double payment of gratuity in case of death in Gratuity Act-1972, rather the act mention that in case of death the 5 years service of employment to become eligible for gratuity is not applicable. Hence you calculate the gratuity for 15 days of each completed years under the following formula
Gratuity= (Basic+DA)/26 days*15Days* Completed years of service.
