Hi Kamla,
Lateral thinking is as good, powerful, and effective as positive thinking. From what I have practiced, these tips can be helpful:
1. When considering possible outcomes, even if the initial response generated by the mind is 'nothing can happen,' 'only this needs to be done,' or 'that's the only way, I am not left with any choices,' simply disregard that and remind yourself to contemplate and come up with at least five or more alternative solutions. Witness your amazing inner giant awakening.
2. You can start practicing meditation or concentration exercises, as this also enhances your lateral thinking. As a meditation trainer myself, I have witnessed remarkable transformations in people's lives.
3. I came across a presentation on Lateral Hats on the internet some time ago; I hope you will enjoy it as well.
Please provide me with your valuable feedback as it will guide further improvements.
All the best,
