To management the inventory, you need to buy some retail software. If you buy a software then it will help you in analysing:
a) Sale as per category
b) Sale as per geographical location
c) Inventory Turnover Ratio
d) Inventory Carrying Cost
e) Ageing of the inventory and so on
The above analysis cannot be done merely on MS Excel.
