Try using the Moneycontrol application. It's easy to maintain and stay connected online. The app also auto-updates its records live. I tried many Excel spreadsheets, but this app worked out just right for me. Moreover, it's free. Go to moneycontrol.com and click on Portfolio (one-time data entry required), then relax.
