Hi, I would like to have some real-time incidents in order to improve the performance of an employee. And/or any incidents where an employee is being dominated, threatened, harassed, asked to either sacrifice, or leave the organization. I am working on a project with a dream of making the corporate industry one of the best places to work with. Please be a part of the discussion.

Thank you, Krishna Datt Bhatt (PEN NAME: JAGDISH BHATT).

Dear Krishna Datt, If you wish to create a better place to work, then you need to find out when employees of your company will consider it "better." For this, you need to conduct the Employee Satisfaction Survey (ESS). Secondly, you have written about "any incidents where an employee is being dominated, threatened, harassed, asked to either sacrifice, or leave the organization." If you know this is happening in your organization, then you need to train all employees in general and managers in particular on interpersonal skills.

Authority and Change Management

By the way, what is your designation? Do you have the authority to create change? You need to work on the outcome of the ESS. This is far more challenging as the ESS reveals underlying issues, making it difficult to eradicate organizational impairments.

I have seen people sacrificing their dreams and choosing inappropriate career paths because there is nobody to guide them on where to go in life. I never thought I would give five precious years of my life to an industry where I have worked in the past.

It's not only my problem; whoever is seeking a job in the crowd is facing the challenge as one doesn't know what exactly needs to be done to become a successful person in life. At least we should have some sources to help the youth in terms of their talent acquisition.

You are absolutely right to say that it's hard to diagnose the issue, but harder is to fix it. By conducting ESS, we may be able to get the data precisely; however, taking those negative findings and presenting them in front of senior management would be harder. It's not easy to convince the management who run an organization with their strategy.

I believe a satisfied employee can deliver far better results than unsatisfied employees.

Project on Employee Satisfaction

I am an author working on a project related to this. So, I want a few actual real incidents of threatening, harassment, manager behavior, comfort zone among employees, etc.

Please share more ideas that will help make my manuscript a great book in the near future.

Regards,
Krishna
