I have completed my MBA in HR but I am looking to choose a business development profession. I would appreciate guidance on whether this decision is correct or should I continue with an HR profession?

Dear Arjun,
If you are confident in handling a job in Business Development (BD), then there is nothing wrong per se. I have seen individuals working as Purchase Managers or Operations Managers even with qualifications in MBA (HR).
Nevertheless, you need to upgrade your knowledge about sales. To achieve this, consider taking 1-2 day capsule courses on selling skills and reading books on sales.
All the best!
